So, I don’t usually win many things like contests and raffles, but lately I’ve been winning left and right. I entered into a give-away with Live Surface – which is a site artists and designers can purchase layered image templates to display their work. I don’t necessarily need it, but Ashley does, so I entered to increase her chances. Then I logged onto DO512 to enter the Summer Fest give-away. Summer Fest is a 2-day outdoor concert held in Houston. This year, Broken Social Scene and Explosions In the Sky are the biggest names on the lineup.

Well, wouldn’t you know it…I won 25 credit images on LiveSurface.com for Ashley, and this weekend, we’re both trucking down to Houston for Summer Fest. We’re staying with my friend Mandy.

Oh also, Wyatt Brand, a public relations firm in Austin, just gave me a free Herff Christiansen shirt, candles and poster, for helping out with the Austin Fashion Awards.

Did I mention I just got a great deal on a new car? Okay, its not new, but practically. I got a 2008 Toyota Corolla LE. They took my piece of crap Cougar for $2,000. I win, and it’s all happening.
